Akhmat Bikanov was born in 1996 in Nalchik (Kabardino-Balkaria). He moved to Moscow at the age of 15 to attend college. In 2020 he graduated MAI.

“My work, same as any cinema, is about emotion-first and foremost, which I value above all else and hope to conjure in the viewers. Portraits- are reflections of the people I love, -they’re essence in one, or, more rarely, in many faces. Maybe, a sense of the the sensuous and serenity is what I am striving towards, whilst creating my pieces.”
